Wow...over the past two days I baked and decorated 8 dozen cupcakes!  I wanted to get some samples out and also celebrate the Sartell Middle School teachers.  I just dropped off 5 dozen of the cupcakes!  I hope everyone enjoys them.  Here are some picts of the process and finished products!

I learned a couple tips while making flavored cream cheese frosting today! First don't try and use the mixer on medium speed while nugget #2 is sleeping, it was either the mixer or the neighbor mowing his yard that ended my cupcake making peace this afternoon. Second...when adding flavor to the frosting it needs to be done before you put the whipping cream in. My raspberry frosting wasn't great for piping...although it tasted great! Next time I will be able to make them look prettier with a firmer frosting to use.

Lemon poppyseed muffins, lemon buttercream frosting, garnished with a raspberry! I love the smell of freshly squeezed lemon...my whole house smells awesome!

Coffee Break

This is the best cupcake combo I have ever tasted, but then again I am a chocolate addict!  My sister and I would like to thank our dad for that horrible sweet tooth! Coconut mocha cupcake, with coconut moch buttercream frosting, with a hint of toasted coconut on top...the crunchiness of the coconut got us...YUM!
